Rorate Caeli Weekend Schola Seminar

Following a break for refreshments after the Rorate Caeli Mass on Saturday, December 16, please join me and our Schola Cantorum in the Tally Auditorium for an hour-long presentation on the origins of Gregorian Chant and how it influenced the development of music in Western Civilization. Together, we will sing samples of Gregorian Chants in both the ancient neums and modern notation to help illustrate how this revolutionary system of notation influenced a thousand years of musical creativity.
