The Traditional Latin Mass Council is a dedicated community comprised of members who represent various ministries and working groups, all united in their mission to serve the greater good of the community and promote the timeless beauty of the Tridentine Rite, also known as the usus antiquior.
Founded over 15 years ago under the pastoral care of the late Father Dan Cody, former pastor of St. Joseph's parish, and with the invaluable guidance of visionary individuals like the late Alan Rees and William & Anne Van Riper, this community stands as a testament to their courage and unwavering commitment to preserving the traditional faith in Jacksonville. We are forever grateful for their enduring legacy, which continues to inspire and nurture the traditional Catholic heritage in our midst.
